Linda Borstein Toborowsky received her degree in Journalism and English from Rutgers University in 1983 and has since been a freelance writer, general manager of multi-unit apartment complexes in New Jersey, owner-operator of a transportation company to shuttle residents to the local train station, and a host of Festival of the Arts, originally on WPBR, and presently broadcast on WCTC AM and over the internet.  

Over the years, she has written and published features in newspapers such as the Home News Tribune, the Princeton Packet and Staten Island Advance;  several magazines, and various professional newsletters.  Her poetry has been published in, 'Voices of America.'  Linda completed her novel of fiction, 'PRISMS' in the 1970s and was a charter member of the New Jersey Writers Association.

During the 1980s, she discovered and developed Shadow-Art photography and has had several exhibits of her work in New Jersey and West Virginia. During the 80s and 90s she was affiliated with several art galleries in New Jersey and handled the public relations for the galleries, artists and musicians.

In 1999-2000, Linda co-hosted the original FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS on WPBR with artist, Roy Steinberg. The radio program aired out of West Palm Beach, Florida and, as does her present show, included interviews with artists, writers, musicians, composers, poets, performers and creatively talented people in a wide variety of the arts throughout the U.S. 

She is a 1972  graduate of the Silva Mind Method, a Reiki Master and is certified in the Emotional Freedom Technique.  She is a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of B'nai Jacob Synagogue in Charleston and created and headed the Living Well Health Fairs in 2006 and 2007 and the Art Expo 2008, which were community events, for the Auxiliary. She is also a Kentucky Colonel.

Since 1983, she has been a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.   After 40 years of being a resident of New Jersey, Linda moved back to W. Va. where she grew up.  She is the mother of three adult children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  She has a brother, Gary and they share a cat named Kitan.
